Prince of Songkla University did a survey on the status of employment of 5,430 graduates who graduated in 2005. It was found that after graduation for six months, 2,958 of 4,244 graduates of the Bachelor’s degree level have been employed (69.7%).

304 of 383 graduates of the continuing education Bachelor’s degree level have been employed (79.4%). 753 of 803 graduates of Master’s degree level have been employed (93.8%). 660 graduates continue their studying. 626 graduates are still unemployed.
The graduates from health sciences areas; Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Nursing are 100% employed. The graduates of the Faculty of Commerce and Management of Trang Campus are 72—78% employed. The graduates of the Faculties of Service Industries, Phuket Campus, Education and Agro-Industry are 77.19% employed. The graduates of the Faculties of Management Sciences, Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Fine Arts, Technology and Management, and Economics are 66-70 % employed.
